expand your abilities to utilize this technology.
It just seems like I was writing in the first issue for this
year that there were going to be many new things happening
at cerecdoctors.com. And that has proven to be true. New,
revamped courses, trip to IDS, symposiums with great
speakers, technology to make it easier to stay connected with
everything CEREC. And we are just beginning!
We want to help you stay connected to technology, tech-
nology that can make a positive impact on you, your practice
and maybe most important, your patient. Stay connected with
cerecdoctors.com. Enjoy.

i was recently traveling with a couple of friends.
We were trying to decide what we were going to do later that
evening. Some of us wanted walk around different areas, some
wanted to rest up after a long day, some didn’t knowwhat they
wanted to do. It was decided at an appointed time, we would
text each other and decide what we were going to do, how we
would reconnect.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I can vividly remember a
time this would not have been easily done. The group would
have had to pick a definite time and place tomeet and that deci-
sion would have been difficult to change. What has changed?
Technology. Technology that allows us to stay connected.
I can remember many years ago when a new version of the
CEREC software came out. I had installed it and was working
on a stone model to see what the newest software could do. I
ran into a problem, a problem I had never seen before there-
fore had no clue how to solve. I went to a computer that was
connected to the internet (not all were at that time) and put out
a SOS on a CEREC chat group. In a matter of hours, I had an
answer. Oh, how things have changed!
Now, thanks to the cerecdoctors.com app, I could just pull
out my phone and connect to the app and have an answer in
a matter of
minutes.
Truly remarkable. CEREC technology
information at one’s fingertips, whenever you want. Always
connected.
Other ways many have chosen to be connected has been by
being part of community. Inmy opinion, this is one of the bene-
fits of this technology, a community of like-minded people.
Not only have people decided to part of the website, they have
decided to be Mentors. They have decided to start Study Clubs
to help others along the CEREC trail. Now they have another
way to connect. They can be part of the new cerecdoctors.com
Academy. Please see Dr. Puri’s article on the latest offering to
