Let us get that statement out in the open first.
There are many variables and preferences that go
into this procedure, and often dentists get discour-
agedwith their results, methods and associated cost.
There are articles and courses on how to use stock
abutments, custom abutments, cement-retained,
screw-retained, how to cement, how to get proper
emergence profile, etc.
The list goes on and on and one is left, overall,
confused. Even when manufacturing implant
crowns in-office with CAD/CAM technology, one is
left with questions of how to produce the best fit,
what does the cement spacer need to be and what
kind of abutments do you use for best results.
