When saving the case, users are encouraged to add relevant
data such as type of cement used, X-rays, the condition of the
opposing and more. This is an incredible way to collaborate the
data that can be garnered by the community.
Just think: if there are 15,000 CEREC users in the United
States, and each user posts just one case per quarter, in a single
year we will have collected feedback on more than 60,000
CEREC cases! Essentially, we have the opportunity to create the
world’s largest CEREC clinical trial.
Perhaps the best part about the app is that it benefits new
and experienced CEREC users alike. Those just starting out
with the software can get guidance and support from their
more experienced peers. Seasoned CEREC users can share
and collaborate on what we hope will become the world’s most
expansive clinical trial.
As you can probably tell, I’m very excited to present this to the
