Mentor Group Annual Symposium,
held June 20-22. Two hundred and fifty
mentors fromall over theworldconverged
for the opportunity to hear from the best
minds in CEREC dentistry.
The “Father of CEREC,” Dr. Werner
Mörmann, discussed the characteristics
of current CAD/CAM materials. Sirona’s
CAD/CAM Product Marketing Manager,
Ingo Zimmer, shared the latest technolog-
ical developments, whileCERECDirector
of Product Management, Birgit Moeller,
did a fantastic presentation on howSirona
developed the Omnicam.
Materials were featured discussion
throughout the event, and there were
plenty of opportunities for old friends to
reconnect, socialize and reenergize.
The Symposium wrapped up with a
live-patient demo and panel discussion.
It all added up to three powerful, fun and
exciting days. I have to admit, my favorite
part was all the mentors coming together
and connecting as a community.
