The next step is to click on the

Scanbody Head. In short, click at the tip

of the scanbody triangle (shown with the

red arrow). This will prompt the software

to place the margin on the tissue

            (Gingivamask) for editing.

In the Edit Base Line step, we

simply designate the margin based on the

crest of the tissue (Gingivamask). You

have the ability to edit as necessary. Since

            the abutment margins are premanu-

factured to the tibase (meso block), it is

unnecessary to draw the margins on the

            actual titanium base (TiBase).

You now have the ability to

            Define Restoration Axis. This allows

you to create angled abutments up to

20 degrees on the TiBase. In this image,

the red dotted line signifies the long axis

of the implant and the yellow arrow

shows the axis of the custom abutment.

You can alter the abutment axis by

manipulating the yellow dot in the

“bull’s-eye” to the left. In this case,

the final position of the crown.
