in turn, led to the incredible growth
of the cerecdoctors.com community.
Thousands of clinicians benefit from the online
camaraderie of the discussion boards, where users
can participate in discussions aswell as peruse the
vast video library offering help on virtually any
CEREC-related question.
As with any organization, as the community
grows, so does the desire for itsmembers to participate on
a higher level. An annual gathering, for example, would
allow the sharing of ideas and collaborating of techniques
one-on-one and face-to-face. Perhaps sharing additional
practice-management tools that can help the clinician in
their practice would be beneficial.
For these reasons and more, the cerecdoctors.com
Academy was born. This natural progression of the
growth of the online community gives Academy
members a chance to collaborate, enhance their knowl-
edge and use tools that will help them in their practice.
The Academy gives the CEREC clinician resources
that can help them not only in their practice clinically,
but also from a practice-management standpoint.

to a directory of CEREC owners nationwide. Patients can
search for Academy members by simply typing in their
zip codes. As most savvy Internet users know, the more
relevant and reputablewebsites that provide a link to your

Now that we give Academy members the opportunity to
link to their own site from our directory, each member’s
Google search ranking has the ability to move higher.

Google when prospective patients search for a preferred
provider. Awin/win for doctors and clinicians alike.
Academy members also get free access to 3-D patient-
education videos. These professionally produced videos
are intended for either doctors or staff to use while
walking patients through the most common dental
treatments. Compatible withmultiple devices, these 3-D
animation videos offer a simple, visual way to educate
patients and explain treatment plans.

Even better, members can add up to three staff members

Symposium at the Aria Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The Symposium, scheduled for October 24-25, 2014, will
be a two-day gathering of some of the brightest minds in
CEREC. It will be free to all Academy members and will
be the largest CEREC event in the world for 2014.
