are available for users once the restorations
are rendered. The first is that the proposals
themselves are shaded. Instead of the stark
silver in past versions, the restorations now
are shaded. The shading can be adjusted in
the Analyzing Tools menu.
figure 9: In addition to the visualization
of the proposal, the user has an additional
Incisal Variation tool to utilize when designing
anterior restorations. The new tool features
four different vertical patterns and two
horizontal patterns that can be modified by the user.
figure 10: The Virtual Articulator is greatly improved from
previous versions. With the latest version, there are several
new features that will aid the user. The first is to manually
move the mandible to simulate the motion on the jaw.
Previously, only a full video animation was possible. Now,
the user can modify the jaw in any movement or direction
that they wish to analyze the movement more precisely.
figure 11: This image shows how the individual movements
can be toggled on and off. For example, if the user only wants
to see the protrusive movements, simply select that particular
movement and ignore the rest.

figure 5: The quality of the models is not only shown in
the visualization but also in the margination. Margination is
more accurate and easier in the automatic mode, more closely
resembling that in the Bluecam.
figures 6a-6b: Another new feature in the Model phase is
the Manual Correlation feature. If the software is not able to
match up two models for Biogeneric Copy, the software gives
the user the option to manually correlate the model.
figure 7: Once the models are shown, the user clicks on
three common areas between the models to aid the software
in matching up the models. Only three points are needed to
allow the software to stitch the models together.
