RESULT
Figures 10 and 11 show the veneers in the patient’s mouth after
adhesive cementation with Clearfil Esthetic Cement EX. The
expectations of the patient were fulfilled, and he was very happy
with the natural appearance of his teeth. He was also impressed by
the quick production procedure and comfortable treatment.
CONCLUSION
With VITA ENAMIC, dentists are offered an innovative restor-
ative material with beneficial properties that allow a minimally
or even non-invasive clinical approach. The production process is
very easy since milling is completed quickly and there is no need
for a firing process prior to the placement of the restorations. As
the edge stability and marginal quality of the restorations is very
good after the computer-aided manufacturing, only minor adjust-
ments are usually required before the restorations can be polished.
While at first, wewondered if the optical properties of thehybrid
ceramic would be able to meet the high esthetic demands of both
patient and dentist, the results of the present case confirmed the
suitability of the material for the most challenging situations. As
shown in this case, a natural appearance is achieved even without
individualization or characterization. If desired, however, it is
possible to characterize the veneers using the VITA ENAMIC
STAINS KIT for the reproduction of natural shade nuances.
