fit intimately into the milled guide. Healing and integration took
place uneventfully.
I attribute positive patient experiences to the use of minimally
invasive SICATOptiGuide flapless guided implant surgery (Fig. 6).
Tissue punch access to the regenerated bonewas all that was neces-
sary to perform a guided implant placement (Figs. 7, 8). While the
implant was integrating, my patient relocated more than two hours
away frommy office but maintained a place to stay while returning
to our area.We scheduledher restorative visit knowing full well that
I would be able to accomplish this restoration- imaging to insertion
— in a single visit.
