Fig. 36: The result
fit was assessed at intraoral try-in of
the crown (Fig. 30). Subsequently, the
surface texturewas finalized (Fig. 31) and
the crown characterized and glazed with
the VITA Enamic STAINS KIT (Fig. 32).
Figure 33 shows the situation immedi-
ately after adhesive cementation. Figures
34 and 35 offer a comparison of the initial
situation and the situationone week after
crown placement. The VITA Enamic
crown is harmonically integrated into the
dentition of the female patient (Fig. 36).
CONCLUSION
Users and patients benefit from time-
efficient, pure chairside treatment with a
restoration made of VITA Enamic. What
saves time is that placement of the resto-
ration is possible almost immediately after
milling. Afiring procedure is not required,
and the two presented cases with a poste-
rior crown show that the restorations
may be characterized, but that this is not
always necessary due to a good shade
adaptation and positive polishing proper-
ties of VITA Enamic. With six different
shades and two translucencies, the range
of colors in which the material is offered
at themoment is well balanced.
Due to this fact, even teeth with a very
specific coloring can be reproduced
successfully, as shown by the example of
the anterior crown.
