WHY DID YOU SELECT A SIRONA TREATMENT CENTER FOR YOUR PRACTICE?
I moved into a new building about a year ago. I have a treatment
room that is my surgical suite. It is also an area where we do live
surgery cases for any demonstrations that I do. I wanted this area
to be equipped to do any procedure that may present. When I saw
the Teneo at CEREC 30, I knew that this was the perfect fit. It is
a powerhouse of a treatment center. It integrates your handpieces,
implant motor, endo motor, scaler and intraoral camera into one
of most compact and beautiful pieces of dental equipment you can
imagine. Combine that with the chair that looks and feels like it
came out of a Mercedes or BMW, and you now have the most effi-
cient and sexy treatment room available.
I also have other Sirona products in my practice. I realize the
superior quality with which this product is made, something that
becomes even more evident once it is installed. This equipment is
meant to last a long time. I recently had the opportunity to visit the
factory in Bensheim, Germany. I was blown away by the detail and
the craftsmanship, all the testing and quality control that goes into
each unit. I can only compare the experience to that of going to the
Mercedes factory and seeing one’s car being built.
HOW CAN SIRONA TREATMENT CENTERS MAKE A PRACTICE MORE EFFICIENT?
The more you use the Teneo unit, the more efficient you become.
Now, if you are doing a crown prep and need to do an endodontic
procedure, you just change a few instruments and you are ready
to use the integrated endo system. It is quite unique that you can
program the unit to use whatever file system you choose. It also has
the integrated apex locator in the handpiece, so you can see on your
overhead monitor a visual of where your file is. You can also docu-
ment things along the way with the integrated intraoral camera.
The camera autofocuses, so it becomes very simple to use.
The integrated foot control is a little different than what we are
used to using in a typical dental chair, but it offers full function-
ality to control your chair. You can use it to operate and change
all your settings for each handpiece and all the chair movements.
