GOALS AND LIFESTYLE?

and mission statement. It might also be the most beautiful treatment

HOW HAVE PATIENTS REACTED TO YOUR NEW SIRONA TREATMENT CENTER?
Far and away, the comfort of the chair has been the number one
comment. The chair reclines differently than the chairs that we
are used to using. You really have to sit in one to understand. The
adjustable and articulating headrest is also a real benefit. I think
patients are also impressed with the clean lines of the equipment
and I am sure they feel like it adds to the quality of their care.
HOW DO YOU FEEL SIRONA’S TREATMENT CENTERS CAN BENEFIT
BOTH DENTISTS WHO ARE JUST GETTING STARTED, AND THE DENTIST
WHO HAS BEEN IN PRACTICE FOR MANY YEARS?
I really feel that if youhave been inpractice and think youneedmore
chairs, you should consider this. I think you can do more dentistry
with this treatment center than what we have been accustomed to
here in the United States. I think this could change the model of
how we design an office in the future. Instead of more treatment
rooms, equipping one, two or three rooms with Sirona’s Treatment
Centers would be a more productive model. It could mean less
square footage needed and more production gained. I think this
would apply to a new dentist as well as an established practitioner.
More space is not necessarily the answer.
ANY ADVICE FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO IMPLEMENT SIRONA’S TREATMENT
CENTERS IN THEIR PRACTICE?
Yes: go try one out. Go to your Pattersonbranch, or to one of the dental
meetings and sit and play with this. Get a feel for the unit. You will be
amazed at what is packed into this equipment. Evaluate what services
you are doing now and what you want to do in the future. Do you do
implants? If so, what do you have to do to set up to do the surgery? Do
you do endo? How are your intraoral cameras set up? When you can
get all of this in one streamlined package, you can do more and better
dentistry—and thiswill be reflected in your bottomline.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR NEW TREATMENT CENTER?
There are so many features of the Teneo unit that I like. I could go
on and on about the removable arms and covers on the doctor’s
and assistant’s units that can be sterilized, but the little feature that
allows us to hook each handpiece line to a disinfection unit built
into the unit has to be tops. It is just another little feature that makes
us feel good about delivering the best care to our patients.
