I have the best of all worlds —working with a highly
refined and professional marketing team while also
getting to know the customers and our partners on a
personal level.
mike ditolla:
As the Director of Clinical Affairs,
it is my job to work with the R&D team and the
marketing team to ensure that the products we
introduce to the market are relevant to the majority
of general dentists. We also make sure to tell the
story of why we introduced these products and how
to integrate them in a practice. And, as the Director
of SiroWorld, it’s my job to ensure that the speakers
we choose will be fascinating to the dentists in atten-
dance, and that the entertainment we choose will be
of interest to dentists and staff alike.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE WITH THE PLANNING OF SIROWORLD?
zimmer:
An event of this size is very complex, and
involves collaboration on many levels with various
teams. I am very fortunate to work closely with
such talented individuals to produce the preeminent
meeting in dentistry. My main focus is to keep it all
together and ensure that every aspect of the meeting
such as speakers, agenda, production, trade show,
entertainment, etc., is covered. It’s a lot of fun to start
with the bare bones ideas from the very beginning,
whenwe are just envisioning the experiencewewant
our attendees to have, and all the way to the final
party of the event when the entire Dentsply Sirona
