Republic concert where you have 100th row seats, at
SiroWorld 2016 you will be leaning against the stage
close enough to touch the band, as our CEREC 30
attendees found out when Train played there.
FOR YOU, PERSONALLY, WHAT IS THE ONE ASPECT
OF THE MEETING YOU ARE MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO?
zimmer:
That’s a tough one! It’s hard to pick just one
aspect. The entertainment is going to be spectacular,
the general sessions and breakouts will be fresh and
innovative, and we’re going to be in the Sunshine
State! It’s impossible not to look forward to the event
as a whole. But I think it truly all boils down to the
people. I personally feel a connection to everyone
who attends and works at the event; I get a lot of
inspiration out of seeing how people in our industry
use Dentsply Sirona technology to improve not only
their practices, but also the lives of their patients.
ditolla:
For me, hosting the meeting is as good as
it gets for a dental speaker. The ability to connect
with all the speakers, and the ability to go on stage
several times to interact with the audience is the job
I was born to do. There is no doubt that I am the
best host in all of dentistry, mainly because I am the
only one.
WHAT ROLE DOES SIROWORLD PLAY
IN THE OVERALL PICTURE OF DENTSPLY SIRONA?
zimmer:
I think SiroWorld is a great indicator of
what is to come in the near future with Dentsply
Sirona. We strive to empower our dental profes-
sionals to provide better, safer and faster dental care,
and SIROWORLD was designed to better teach the
skills and offer technological innovations to help
clinicians be the best at their craft.
ditolla:
The SiroWorld meetings will be a show-
place for the synergy between Dentsply and Sirona
by creating the most comprehensive and exciting
annual dental meeting. We know many offices will

plan their CE schedules around the attendance of
this meeting because of the combination of world-
class education and entertainment.
I KNOW THERE WILL BE SOME EXHIBITORS AT THE MEETING.
HOW DO YOU SELECT THEM? CAN ANYONE COME OR DO
THEY HAVE TO ADD VALUE TO THE MEETING ATTENDEES?
zimmer:
Our exhibitors will play a large role at
SiroWorld as they display the industry’s best prod-
ucts and services on our trade show floor. We select
our exhibitors carefully by examining which exhibi-
tors are compatible with our vision of the ultimate
dental meeting.
IF YOU HAD TO GIVE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE TO SOMEONE
WHO IS COMING TO THE MEETING, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
zimmer:
Take full advantage! SiroWorld is so
robust, and we offer so much educational value, that
it’s important to take advantage of each opportunity
to better your practice and improve your skill set. It’s
a great chance to network and get a glimpse at how
technology is changing our industry.
ditolla:
First of all, just commit to coming to the
meeting and bringing your staff! There are courses
for your front office, chairside assistants and hygien-
ists; make sure you take advantage of this unique
program. And, with the great entertainment at the
meetings, you can be assured that your staff will
meet any production goals you have set in order to
attend the meeting. That’s why you will never see
Mel Torme or Barry Manilow as the entertainment
options — we want your staff to be willing to hit any
goal to attend! And if you’re a CEREC owner, make
sure to take advantage of other tracks such as the
endo track, because chances are you still do endo
on at least a weekly basis. Lastly, don’t miss any of
the opportunities to see DiTolla on stage, the guy is
comic gold!
