screw-retained provisional restoration. The peri-implant bone
and soft tissues were adjusted using the Straumann Guided Bone
Profiling System (Figs. 18-20) and a Sirona ScanPost for the Strau-
mann Bone Level NC implant was modified to reduce its shoulder
diameter circumferentially so it could be inserted into the limited
spaceprovidedby thismaxillary lateral incisor sitewithout impinging

on any hard or soft tissues (Fig. 21). This modified ScanPost with the
corresponding ScanBody was then inserted onto the implant and the
seatingwas confirmed via a periapical radiograph (Figs. 22-23).
A CEREC Omnicam digital impression/scan of the ScanBody was
obtained and a full contour screw-retained provisional restoration
wasdesigned intheCERECsoftware (Figs. 24-25).Thescrew-retained
provisional restoration was milled out of an Ivoclar Telio CAD
