by the patient, both restorations were etched and bonded into
place using Variolink Esthetic (Ivoclar Vivadent), a veneer/crown
bonding cement. Once bonded, the bite and lateral movements
were checked and adjusted. The restorations were cleaned of
excess bonding material and polished (Fig. 11).
CONCLUSION
The fabrication of esthetic and durable restorations is possible
through the combination of modern technology and innovative
materials.
Using CEREC technology and VITABLOCLS TriLuxe forte
machinable blocks, I was able to create natural-looking crowns
that were esthetically pleasing and durable for the patient. At
the completion of treatment, the very satisfied patient gained a
successful cosmetic restoration consisting of two quality CEREC
crowns in just one day (Fig. 12).
